Flight Review: American Airlines Boeing 767 – 300
from New York JFK to Barcelona BCN
Economy Class | Flight AA67
American Airlines Boeing 767 – 300 is one of the oldest aircraft in the skies and I was very surprised to see it on the Transatlantic flight from JFK to BCN. If I am not mistaken US carriers generally use these planes to fly to Latin America. But somehow it made it on this route. Despite their age, I really love this aircraft. In economy class, it is not so big is comfortable. But for such a long flight surprisingly entertainment system was not installed in economy class.
Feel free this video that contains a peak of American Airlines Boeing 767 – 300 Business Class and the full review of Economy class, including the meals, amenities, and much more.
I love how small the aircraft is. It gives passengers a sense of privacy and accessibility. It has a 2 – 3 – 2 configuration, which allows window seat and middle seat passengers to easily come out if they need to use to use the restroom.
In every seat, every passenger has a pillow and a blanket. Till this day I am still trying to figure out how passengers in economy class use the pillows for better comfort during the flight unless you’re sitting in an aisle seat.
Although American Airlines Boeing 767 – 300 is a great aircraft, I am very disappointed to see Economy class is not fitted with entertainment system or even power outlets. For routes like these, American Airline should at least give its passengers entertainment. It was harsh to go through this flight not being able to work or watch a film before going to sleep.
The food was decent as expected, and the service, for the most part, was up to par. I love the size of the aircraft. It is not a usual one on transatlantic flights. But in Business Class, on the other hand, was refitted a lot better than Economy. Let’s see how long this aircraft lasts in service.
